Fundraisers

MATS hosts several fundraising events throughout the year. We always need plenty of volunteers for our Glow-in-the-Dark 5K race (March), Family Fun Day (June), Victory Concert (August), and Turkey Smoking (November).

Shelter

We have several areas for volunteers to help anytime around the shelter. Help case managers during busy part of the day, fill-in or a full or partial CM shift, help unload the food truck, sort through donations, etc.!

During the cold winter months, we open our warming station on nights the temperature falls below 32 degrees. You may call the shelter if you would like to sign up to bring food one of those nights.

*MATS can offer service hours for students and those who need community service hours. More information can be obtained by completing the Volunteer Questionnaire or emailing Kathy or calling (423) 616-0891.
